“Red Feather” 9x12 acrylic on Carved Bison Bone and 1/8th inch aqua board. Red Feather was a Mandan Warrior who was fist put to canvas by artist Karl Bodmer in the 1840s My version has attached to it two carved bison bone feathers- One 4 inch red dyed golden eagle feather and one 1.5 inch great horned owl feather to go with the feather hair piece he is wearing.
